All the places, from st John's to port aux Basques we have eaten from, does not compare to the fish and chip meal we had here.The pan fried/ deep fried was just to die for, cooked to perfection!! The fries are homemade , the gravy was delicious.Kudos to the cooks and staff!!! ?
The experience is awesome! We came for supper the night before, then breakfast in the morning. We thought they opened at 7 and came here at 7, but they opened at 8. They still let us in and said they won't turn anyone down! Food was amazing, the service was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful.
There weren't too many options for eateries but Alma's in Grand Bay was one for the Missus and I along with our Westcoast travellers. You had friendly service, tasty food and decent prices. What more can you ask for in a small town family restaurant.
Fantastic food, I went twice during my cross Canada run for cures and service was night and day. One was great and the other was terrible. The deals of the day are a tremendous value.
