Seashore - Channel-Port aux Basques

My sister, brother-in-law, and I just arrived in Newfoundland and were staying at an Airbnb near the Seashore Restaurant. Feeling hungry, we decided to stop by for dinner, and it turned out to be a fantastic way to kick off our first night on the island. The menu was impressive, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We couldn't resist trying cod tongues, having heard so much about this traditional dish; we really enjoyed them! The fish we ordered—cod, halibut, and salmon—was all outstanding. For dessert, we had the strawberry rhubarb cobbler, which was also delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful meal in a charming, slightly off-the-beaten-path restaurant. I highly recommend it!

The Sunday brunch buffet is easily the best breakfast/brunch on the southwest coast. Great staff, delicious food.

This restaurant is very charming and enjoyable. It serves some of the best fish and chips and seafood around, along with a variety of exquisite dishes on the menu. The view of the sea is beautiful, and the service is excellent. The only downside is its somewhat difficult-to-find location. Overall, it's a fantastic restaurant that everyone should experience.

Nestled in the charming seaside town of Margaree, this restaurant offers a perfect setting along with fresh and delicious food and a kind, well-mannered staff. Our table enjoyed six pan-fried cod dishes, and nearly everyone polished theirs off! I've heard that their chowder is phenomenal, so that's definitely next on my list — if I ever find myself in this beautiful spot again.

Absolutely delicious! Very enjoyed the Shrimp Scallops platter, coffee Figgy Duff. Very cheap prices for fresh local seafood. The staff is super friendly! Free Wifi to catch up with the world. Will be back.
