Super weird way to order beers using the QR code. The beers were alright and the vibe was kind of like a dive bar. One of the staff members kept coming over to check and see if we needed help ordering using the QR code. It would have been way easier to just take our order. Sometimes technology isn't always the answer.
Three words sum up our brief experience here: Very Rude Staff. We stopped in for dinner and there was quite a wait. This was understandable as it was a Friday night. To bypass some time, we decided to order a beer at the bar while we waited. We were standing by the bar waiting to order when one of the servers rudely stated for us to move. I replied that we were just trying to order a drink. His response was that he didn’t care and we needed to get out of the way.I’m sorry that we were trying to spend money at your establishment. Perhaps learn how to be kind to your customers rather than chasing them away.
We saw the LA times said “best fish and chips” so we went. We shared the fish and chips and the crab cakes. They were seriously the best! Really yummy. I can’t decide which I liked best. The fries and sauce that came with it was really good too. Even the ketchup was really good. The coleslaw was on the sweet side. I am usually the coleslaw eater but since it was sweet I didn’t love it, but my husband, who doesn’t like coleslaw that much, loved it. Nancy was our waitress and was so sweet and helpful. We just loved her.
Green chili burger was worth the hype along with the variety of great beer. Although tech savvy, self-ordering was a bit cumbersome and awkward, but we got food and drinks fast.
