Root House Coffee Shop - Pagosa Springs

This was a delightful stop on our drive from Durango. The coffee and chai latte were excellent. The shop also had a wonderful selection of charming items.

What a wonderful coffee shop. We didn't have the food though I really wanted to, the delicious smells were driving me crazy. There is also a small store with great products for gifts. And by the way my NZ fellow traveller and coffee snob says the coffee was very good indeed. Plus... a great vibe. If the weather wasn't so horrid we would have been outside on the deck

The only thing better than their bloody Mary’s are their house coffees… and maybe their staff

Fantastic coffee shop, with great coffee and pastries. The pastries sold out every day we went, but everything we tried was great. Would recommend, especially early for the delicious cinnamon rolls or kolaches.

The perfect coffee shop. Great ambiance. Service was fast and helpful. They make their own syrups and a lot of their baked goods. We tried their donuts and they were delicious paired with a cappuccino. I would recommend making the stop here.
