I ordered a plain dosa, samosa, and masala chai. The samosa was good, similar to ones found in cafes and shops. The masala chai was really delicious. Dosas are best enjoyed in the restaurant as they can lose their crispiness when taken away, but the taste was still good. The sambar was probably the best I've had in Australia, with a nice strong flavor. I'm excited to come back and try the rest of the items on the menu.
I have been a fan of this Indian cuisine for a long time... Writing this review is actually making me crave it.
The pani puri at this restaurant is absolutely amazing and a must-try! My brother Shivam enjoyed the vegan pani puri while I had the one with yogurt. As for my previous review, the goat curry was poorly made with chewy meat pieces, which was very disappointing. I would give it one star for that experience.
Stopped by this restaurant while visiting Newcastle. The place was bustling with a mix of foreign and Indian patrons. I was intrigued by the diversity of options on the menu. We ended up ordering Tandoori Chicken, which was flavorful but not as juicy as expected. The Chicken Biryani was decent, though our hunger may have influenced our opinion. Despite not taking any pictures, I give this place 4 stars for its variety of dishes, generous portions, reasonable pricing, and friendly Punjabi staff.
