Ground Floor Cafe - Newcastle

Great food and good value. we had a late breakfast here for the first time. tables inside and outside and they order at the switch. many fresh air in this iconic building space. highly recommended.

Very good location for coffee shop. they have options to choose regarding seating. outside, inside or in the window area next to the walkway. the order is simply a pretty fast and the staff was polite. coffee was great and delicious. good place when they need to work on their laptop. would like to open it a little longer.

I stumbled on this lovely place as I could not find the breakfast establishment I was looking for (being an out of town-er). Well, I lucked out here. Convivial atmosphere, well presented meals, swift and really friendly, smiling service from the young staff with laid-back atmosphere. There is also outdoor seating but I sat inside because it was really windy. I loved the back-ground music (forgot to ask them where the music came from) and they must have musicians here as there's a Steinway featuring. I felt super chilled and not rushed as a sole diner. I could not fault it for a lazy brunch. Well done!

Great coffee and food choices but flies were really bad!Flies landed in our friends cappacino and started to sink!Would go back if fly problem was better managed!

Have take my wife & daughters here many times now for breakfast or coffee, the place never disappoints, the food is always fresh & tasty & the coffee is always great, nice place to be on a rainy Newcastle day. Great location in the heart of the CBD.
