Kaslo Hotel Pub & Restaurant

Overall the menu was very good at pub restaurant. but I wouldn't take her 6oz steak sandwich back, my was poor, overtaken unattractive to say the least. they could pick it up safely on this one, otherwise good food!...Beautiful look at the lake on their outdoor terrace. a big visit I look forward to the next!

My wife and I visited on the occasion of our 30 anniversary. This was one of only a couple of restaurants that were open in Kaslo during our visit so we thought we would give it a try. We weren’t disappointed. We ate in the...pub which has an okay atmosphere but nothing too special, but lots of baseball on the big screens. I ordered the Jambalaya which was quite good. It had just the right amount of spice to it provided mostly by the chirozo sausage. I hadn’t seen it served with the jumbo shrimp before which was a surprise but just fine. My wife enjoyed the salmon piccata which was well cooked but not overcooked. They ran a little low on the wine we wanted and had to settle for only one glass apiece rather than sharing a half litre, but that wasn’t too big a deal. The waiter attended to us promptly and the food showed up in good time. I would recommend this establishment as the food is quite alright.

We look forward to our last meal here in kaslo. we had already chosen the place we wanted to eat and arrived there before 18 o'clock. it all went down. the service was the worst thing I did in. we sat outside in the wind on a table waiting for a table to open. I went to three separate places and asked if there was something inside. I saw various people sitting at the tables when we arrived, so we felt basically abandoned. our food took an hour to come to us. we had a 20-month stay with us and our waitress never brought him to drink, nor did she bring us our salads. She never came by to let us know why our food took so long. we finally got our food, but had to box it up because the child so hungry hebegan to scream. what began as our last meal together in a chic restaurant, ended in the catastrophe.

Tag one: curry was displayed on the menu as mild. in reality it was hot. we couldn't eat it. service was ssllloooww....then taken for the bill. we decided to order dessert in our room. it took an hour until the dessert comes. we did not leave a tip. tag two: sssllooww. service. food came with food. kartoffels were cold. hamburger meat was not cooked. when we left, we were accelerated by the “mother server”. they complained that we didn't tip their son the day before. then they complained that their son had to pay 10.00 to the chefs from his sons because we don't typ. that's crazy! When some of us came from Europe, they said we should have read about Canada before coming. good mourning. ikea. wake up the restaurant staff. I was born and raised in Canada and worked 35 years. Nobody ever hit me.
