Sea View Cafe - Hope

Was I delirious and still under the influence of that chowder when I wrote that review eight months ago? Note to self, after using talk to text on Yelp, be sure to proof read review. Apologies to readers, but reviewing this again makes me want more chowder!!

Very small quiet cute little place. It is convenient when staying in Hope. However, the food was pretty expensive and the portions were small. The food was pretty regular and nothing special. They had a good beer selection though. I'd recommend trying elsewhere. Not worth the money.

This cafe has the most outrageous view, set right off the mudflats in Hope. The food is fresh and delicious. Great local beer selection. Awesome ambiance. Super clean. Staff was friendly and service was great (we sat down at the same time as a party of 20 and everything still came out timely). Wish we could've been there on a day with live music! 10/10 recommend.

Small place in the middle of nowhere, food probably ain't too great right? Wrong. The halibut sandwich was BOMB.

Over the river and through the woods to SEAVIEW CAFÉ WE GO. Seriously great, homey spot in this fun little historic town. Probably the only bar in town, but a great one. Great beer on tap, served in a nice mason jar. Food is shockingly good. They could easily phone-it-in here, but they don't. Bartender is always friendly and the bar is always filled with potential friends. I once chatted with a real-life gold miner for a couple hours. Fun shows here all summer long, closed in the winter :
