The boiler chips were only reg chips not fried like special, but we loved the variety and uniqueness of the main entree menu elements. Just casual mood, you go up and stand at the counter and they'll bring it to you.
Savior for late dinner, order at the tavern, got your number then wait at the dining area table. Burgers are juicy with good fries. Overall a very decent menu in the middle of Grand Canyon area.
We had the elk burger. The flavor was excellent! Served on a sour dough bread that was perfectly toasted. Came out hot! Served quickly. We st outside in the sun. Around 3pm. They started a fire in their big fire pit which was a nice touch. They also have outside heaters. Everyone was friendly from ordering at their counter to the guy who delivered the food. They have lots of beer options for those who are looking for drinks. The corn chowder was hearty and seemed homemade. Excellent flavor!
The food is great, and the patio is awesome as it has heaters and fire tables with seats at them. We had live music outside which was great. The line to get food was long but it was just after sunset so it was very busy. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. Staff was all very friendly.
Great location and atmosphere with the outdoor fire and seating. Unfortunately, if you are an international visitor, you will need to take your passport as proof of age for an alcoholic drink. Very strange as no other establishment asked us for this proof. Food was decent, prices are ok Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
