Bright Angel Lodge

If you are looking for a very comfortable place right at the edge of the Grand Canyon it is. One of my favorite parts was awake and Elch grazed right in front of our cabin. I found the room very comfortable with really nice beds and our bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Our room had heat, but I don't think there's any air conditioning. Some of the rooms have private bathrooms and some do not. So you should ask yourself.

Fantastic cabin with walkway to the rim. We have a cabin with a window that has a partial view of the canyon! The room is very large for two people. It is obvious that the room was recently updated. The furniture and the bathroom are in good conditions. Check-in was fast. The girl at the desk was friendly and started three days ago. I'm so glad I changed from the Kachina Lodge. I think that's so much better.

Room is a bit dated, But was very clean. Shower is small but has great water pressure. Staff friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Right at the rim of the Grand Canyon. So its a great location. A bit hard to find the room at night. Lighting is almost nonexistent..

We did the mule ride in the morning in Oct. We checked in the day before and got all the documents and orientation done. You need to wear long sleeve, long pants, broad rim hat (beanie is fine too), and closed toe shoes. The bus took us to the barn from Bright Angle. Our ride was a 2hr ride and it took about 3.5 hours from the time we left the hotel. You can only bring one item with you to the tour, no backpack. They provide strings to tide your phone so you can hang it on your neck. No restroom once you leave the hotel.

From the minute we arrived, our visit was wonderful. Linda at registration was so friendly knowledgeable, she could update our room to a rim cabin, which was so amazing! I cannot describe the charming historical flair of the cabin as a background for the most amazing view. Dinner at Fred’s Burgers was delicious. This was our first Grand Canyon visit, but we would definitely stay here again!!!
