Hunter River Hotel Restaurant

Good food. we came here as a big group, so we tried to do a lot of things. my partner had the filet steak and I had the curry of the day that in this case was a red thai chicken curry with rice and flatbread. we thought both were delicious, but the steak's diane sauce was funny. it didn't taste like diane at all and it had lump (from gravy powder? we didn't eat it. the curry was very tasty, but so spicy that my dear was hurt. I asked the waiter if it was very spicy, she said it was something, but she can't handle spicy either. Therefore I thought I would be very good as I like a few, but I was mistaken, I could not finish my plate, because it meant too much hurt at a point, but the taste was still great, the flatbread was delicious. we had also bruschetta, it was good, but it was a bit dry. would recommend a bit more edgy or balsamico glaze on it. the rest of the table tried burger, pasta, risotto and salate. everyone seemed quite happy with his decisions. we also didn't have to wait long, maybe 15 to 20 minutes and most dishes (for 9 people were ready for the same time. we had 2 friends who had appeared a bit later and unfortunately waited for her to eat a bit exaggerated. they had only a burger and a pasta dish and they waited almost a full hour. That wasn't nice. Except that eating was nice and the prices also not too bad, would recommend.

A great bunch of bar staff young fresh and biblically local a place for all great beer garden jukebox pool table restaurant and gaming bar and a neat pokie room fairsized car park near public transport and laundromat all in one location

Premises well kept and clean. Only negative was that if you used the call bell no one would come or it took a very long time for someone to come.... Overall will be back again.
