The Orange Tree - licensed cafe by the river

We had lunch here, and to be honest, we stumbled across it, being attracted to the odd name, which intrigued us. We were shown upstairs and into the courtyard, overlooking the Orange tree and the river.Everything at this cafe, was sensational, from the food, cleanliness, to the service.The coffee was very nice as well.I do suggest you book or get there early, as this place filled very quickly, by the locals. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

We were delighted to have found The Orange Tree after an overnight stay in Maitland and had breakfast there.We chose to sit out on the deck overlooking the river which was a charming spot.We ordered Eggs Benedict,coffee juice etc.It was absolutely delicious,beautifully presented and excellent quantities. This gem is well worth a visit.

Ambled in on a rainy day for a late lunch. The cafe was busy, but service was quick and super friendly. The food was great and exceeded our expectations. I am very happy to recommend this cafe to others. Ps the pricing seemed very reasonable.

The best burger we have ever tasted. The Cauliflower and Bacon soup was beautifully spiced and so tasty. Great coffee topped off a super tasty and reasonably priced meal. We sat out the back underneath the gorgeous orange tree, what a lovely setting to enjoy terrific food and friendly staff. The facilities were spotless also.

Orange Tree is a great spot for an awesome breakfast over looking the river. The big breakfast is just that - big. Great coffee perfect for brunch.
