Decided to have a hot chocolate and banana bread with cinnamon and honey butter as an afternoon treat. It was delicious and reasonably priced. I will be back for a meal another day!
Just had lunch at Organic Feast in East Maitland. What an awesome place to eat and shop for fresh, organic, locally grown vegetables and fruit. This is a place that will be a return visit many times over. The staff are friendly and efficient and always smiling.
This out of the way café is such an impressive place. You feel like having any dietary restrictions means little in the way of what you can eat. Almost like dietary restrictions do not exist here because the food is so good.Hope anyone going here feels exactly the same. I can hardly wait for my next visit and meal.
I have visited here a few times. I love the range of foods on the menu and the way they are able to cater for gluten free and dairy free options. We were particularly annoying customers today (not meaning to be) we accidentally ordered wrong and had to change it. The staff were so lovely about it.
Interesting blend of Aussie favourites done healthily with inspired novel meals from the minds of the owners.Lovely pies and tarts with a healthy bent. A menu wide with choices ... something to please pretty much anyone. Reasonable coffee and tea. A word of warning. Do not eat outside on the verandah. You will be all but ignored by the wait staff as they seem to make a priority of the people they can see in their sphere of vision. It's like Siberia being on the verandah. (We moved inside when others left. Sad that we had to.) Don't be in a hurry. We had about 80 minutes for a stop before a later commitment. One of the people in our party waited just over 55 minutes for a main, her only ordered item!
