Anna Marie's Winery Cafe - East Butler

Absolutely terrible. Would not recommend. The atmosphere is bleak with a sense of mediocrity throughout. The lasagna was overcooked on the outside and cold on the inside. I just love hard ends to my lasagna. Don’t ask for a beer because it’s not draft but will be given to you in a glass poured incorrectly thats barely full trying to be passed off as a draft. Want some lemon for your tea, nope they don’t have lemons. Want some fresh cheese, nope you can have a paper packet of cheese product. The sauce is more like a chunky salsa rather than an actual tomato sauce. Just an absolute cash grab for unsuspecting suckers laboring under a delusion that price dictates quality.

We used Anna Marie's Winery and Cafe for a recent wedding rehearsal dinner with approximately 55 guests. I can't say enough good things about our experience. The food was excellent, the service was superb and the room was perfect for the occasion. The manager, Beth, took care of all the details from seating, place settings buffet lines, etc. Everyone was pleased--we had unanimous praise from those who were there.

We've always enjoyed dining at this restaurant good food, good service, and beautiful patio. Last Sunday, August 27th, we had reservations for 3 at 5:00 on the patio. I heard my husband on the phone and was clear on the date/time. They seemed to have trouble as he was put on a long hold twice, but it was done. It was a beautiful day and told my mother how nice it was to eat on the patio. When we arrived they had us in for Thursday the 31st. They did squeeze us in to eat inside in the room in the back, telling us there was no staff to serve outside. It's not a short drive for us so we stayed. Okay....our meal and service was still good. However, at 6:15 when we were leaving there were customers being served out on the patio! So was it open or closed? And how do they decide who to serve where? We had selected Anna Marie's on this day specifically because it was a beautiful day and we had been raving about how nice it was to eat on the patio, so my mother was excited to try it. Wondering how it's being managed now and whether or not to return?
