Not a huge portion but not a huge price, so the side of meatballs and a couple rolls to fill out the meal was just right. Rolls were so good I had to assume they can make a good pizza dough. Wasn't disappointed, easily the best pizza in town. In person the crust holds up better than ordered but still delicious none the less. After trying every pizza place in butler I can say Villa Grande is the only place I will be ordering from now on. Same with pasta, but there's not a lot of great pasta places so that almost goes without saying. Check it out!
New York/NJ-style pizza DONE RIGHT, NO CUT CORNERS. Quality ingredients and baked correctly. You will LOVE this pizza if NY-style is what you crave. Rarely do I give 5-star ratings in Western PA for food, but because so few places in the region make NY-style pizza the way it should be, this place deserves high praise. The people baking pizza at Villa Grande should be hired as consultants for 35 or more other independent pizza shops across the region: “How to do it right.” The rest can make their bread pizza with sad sauce.
We have really enjoyed Villa Grande over the years and especially their wedding soup. They have increased the price of quarts and the containers and contents have decreased. Picked up an order tonight and had to wait at least 15 minutes after the promised time. Left with only one tiny quart so then had to fight the crowd and go back in to get the other tiny quart. I think this is it for us…just not worth it anymore.
Great calzones and pizza, linguine and clam pasta also yummy... Never disappoints... Consistent... Awesome calzones.. Great Veal Parmesan
Excellent pizza and the cheese garlic knots might be the best I ever had.
