The best Indian food I've found anywhere nearby, and also cheaper than any other restaurant in the West Village!
Casual sit down spot. Food was hit or miss (lentil dish was great but the naan bread was more like a dense pizza crust?! . Waited a full hour and still didn’t have our appetizers or entrees. Had to practically stand in front of someone to get service. This was my first visit and I won’t be back.
The food was delicious, and the waiter friendly. I can't wait to go back!
The restaurant presents itself online as a lively, colorful Indian restaurant. In fact it is a dreary, whitewashed narrow and dark space with no charm. The food is just plain awful. The rice was so dry it was almost crunchy and the sauces were flavorless. I do not recommend this restaurant.
