La Cocina Boricua - BRONX

The music was quite loud upon entering. The waitress, maybe due to the language difference, got it y order wrong. Most of the food was pretty good! The calamari was burnt and the oil may have been old. The shrimp in the shrimp soup was a little overcooked. I may not recommend but the Groupon was a good deal.Food: 4/5

The food here is very good. The service was also good. I went here with a Groupon for $100 worth of food. I only paid about $8 for the tax and gave a tip. We ordered meals and appetizers that we ate there and still had to order a bunch of food that we took home because they literally gave us $100 worth of food, appetizers and dessert. I just bought another Groupon to use again because it was so well worth it and there was no waiting period before buying again. You can dine in or take out. There's street meter parking, but I didn't have a hard time when I went. I recommend eating here even without the Groupon. The food is worth it and the prices are good on a regular day.Parking: There is metered street parking so it can be difficult on some days, but I was lucky to get parking when I went.

One order was suppose to be Fried Shrimp.. we got sautéed shrimp… the sweet plantains were rotten and burnt. They use nasty bag shrimp instead of fresh. Their food had absolutely no flavor. I also had some nasty chicken and shrimp, it had no sauce no flavor. First and last time ordering here. The reviews gotta be just because pr wants to suppose pr. Go to Brisas in castle hill Food is good Everytime. Pack it up La Covina.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon with my wife. Delicious food and great drinks! Can't go wrong thank you!!!Food: 4/5
