Guide Falls Farm - West Ridgley

On this place for a 40th birthday and 20 years jubilee, it was a beautiful relaxing place and atmosphere and a beautiful meal

I dined here with the family recently during an outing. The food was fantastic, coffee was great, and the service was prompt and polite.However I was really disappointed with the condition of the farm and welfare of the animals. We visited on a hot day, from our perspective the pig had no access to water or mud. Several of the bird cages had insufficient water for drinking and bathing, a number of geese appear to have Angel Wing syndrome (vitamin deficiency, high-carbohydrate diet) , and one cage with a distressed looking cockatiel had no water at all. We discovered a decomposing chicken in the shared chicken/guinea pig cage, and another cage was empty except for 6 dead rats.

Visited for brunch today after walking at Guide Falls. I ordered the big breakfast and found the eggs were well cooked with runny yolk which is how I like them. The bacon was good but my favourite part of the meal was the beans which were nicely flavoured.It did take us a while to get our meal which was disappointing given we were the only people there. The chorizo sausage wasn't spiced, it tasted like ordinary sausage to me, which isn't to say it wasn't nice, just not what we expected. The coffee was fairly average.I've been to the farm before for an event, it's a nice spot and enjoyable to walk around the garden when they have live music. They allow you to feed the animals and it's very friendly to young children.

Palate-to-plate at it's finest. Just delicious! Great for families too.

Absolutely amazing food and very friendly staff. The prices were almost too cheap for the quality of food restaurant quality at pub prices. We will be back
