This review may be overexcited due to the nature of the town of Devonport but this is truly the nicest pub I went to whilst I was in was

Good quality food, great service. Just a few minutes drive from spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal. Kiss activities provided and great value big kid meals

Wow - what a find! Thanks Yelp! The Central looks like your average Aussie pub from the outside, but the food on offer is definitely a few notches

A weekend lunch date deserves something different and ‘The Chapel’ provides a unique experience. Located in an iconic old chapel, from the moment we walked in the relaxed and friendly staff found us a pew to set down. With the venue at full capacity it becomes quite noisy (sorry, minus 1star for this reason), however the coffee soothes the soul and was worthy of a 2nd serve. The ‘hot smoked salmon with soba noodles’ ‘double beef brisket burger’ were amazing and most definitely heavenly sent. As we walk out the door we are left feeling full, satisfied and tastebuds tingling. A return visit is a must, 4 stars…..

Apart from the fact that the building and space itself is incredible, The Chapel has some of the best coffee and food I’ve ever had from a cafe. Great service too.
