The Good Home Birkenhead - Waitakere

The Good Home is consistently average. I have been here many times and have never had bad or amazing food, it's always consistently average. It's a good place for families to eat as it's reasonably priced and has a good selection of food for kids. The staff are always very welcoming.

We had a wonderful Friday night at the restaurant enjoying the live music from the duo we love. The food was delicious and the service from the ladies was excellent.

I haven't been to this restaurant since the days of the Slip Inn, when it honestly wasn't very good. I have been keeping an eye on the live music and when I saw that you had 2's a Crowd performing, I decided to give it another try.

We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. It was a hen's party and even though it was busy, we received excellent service. They were honest about the wait time for our main courses and the food was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The squid costs $17 and is served with 4 pieces. My medium rare steak was severely undercooked. The prices for all the food items seem high for the quality, except for the daily special which offers good value.
