Tokyo Sushi - Village of Herkimer

Wonderful sushi. Service was a little brusque but more than made up for by the great food and value. Bento boxes are much bigger than they appear in the menu!

The sushi rolls, fried rice, and hibachi are all absolutely delicious! The chicken in the fried rice is tender and moist, which I really appreciated. However, I would love to see an option for smoked salmon in their Philadelphia rolls. A delivery option would also be convenient, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, I had a great experience with this restaurant!

Not much for atmosphere but who cares when the food is outstanding

This sushi restaurant offers a wide variety of specialty options, both cooked and raw. I tried the two rolls for $10 special, and the crunchy spicy tuna was a definite highlight for me. Not wanting to run short, I also ordered the veggie tempura for $8. Let me tell you, this was not just a side dish; it was an enormous plate piled high with tempura. I ended up taking home about 60% of it! After tax, my total came to just over $20. The sushi was fantastic, and it even came with a delicious fried item (featured in the center of the picture) that I couldn't quite identify, but it was incredible. I will definitely be returning to this place. Sushi lovers, you don't want to miss out on this gem!

We were a little worried going in because we are from out of town and had never tried this place but it was fantastic. Best sushi I’ve had in a long time!
