O'scugnizzo Pizzeria - Utica

Visited a friend and was told the pizza was great here. IS! I never had pizza with the sauce on the cheese, it's chaotic, but I definitely recommend! Very nice counter service too.

We stopped in this restaurant after taking the Polar Express. The dining room was closed, but with two different families with a total of 11 people Josh and Red opened the dining room to help our families. Amazing service, very friendly, great people. Food was also pretty good!!

That was my first experience with an uplying cake and I loved it. The crust was dense; somehow chew and crispy at the same time. You couldn't see the paprika, but you could certainly taste its taste. When the cake is served, it appears uncut. But it's actually perfectly cut, so it's super easy to grab a piece without slipping away anything. The sauce, sprinkled with grated cheese, is tasteful. And you should try the finely ground hot pepper flakes. ... The building seems a little sketched, but who cares? It's downtown Utica. Didn't expect a palace. The two men behind the counter were efficient if not exactly warm and cuddly. The pricing is a shadow high, but not worthy of a legitimate complaint. The pizzeria has been working for more than 100 years, so it is quite obvious that people behind the business know what they are doing. Nothing fantastic, except taste.

Great za couldn't wait to take the picture first had to crush a few pieces! I read this online on my trip from Boston to Cleveland according to major reviews. Love the crust and sauce above a truly unique pizza from a great place.

In my opinion, this place has the best pizza in Central New York, uncontested. I drive from Syracuse regularly just to pick it up. Crispy, buttery dough. Thick, luxurious cheese that chars perfectly around the crust. Savory, chunky sauce. I recommend the #9 pie.
