Chesterfield's Tavolo - Utica

When we came I think we waited for about 15-20 minutes before we were sitted. We tried their Osso Buco before and we both loved it so that?s what my husband ordered. I tried something new on their best sellers, Pasta Purses and I loved it as well! Thedraft beer we got was so good my husband ordered another glass. It was labeled DFT KNTUCKY on our receipt. And you can never gowrong with Fried Calamari, I loved the sweet and spicy sauce it came with that I sent my husband to buy me a tub the next day,they don?t sell it but they were nice enough to sell it to me! ????

First of all, these people are lovely. It has been so long since I have had a genuinely pleasant interaction with a waitress that made me smile and relaxed because I felt she cared, heard me and valued me. She gave me the extra lemons for my water andrefilled my glass. I ordered their version of a wedge salad, which is not a wedge salad. It is a good salad but not what Iwanted. So read the menu unless they listen to me and change the name to indicate they took some creative liberties with aclassic..... I stand by the fact that a traditional wedge with just iceberg lettuce, their rich and lucious blue cheesedressing, tasty bacon pieces and perhaps some fresh sliced red onion would have been the perfect compliment to theirpizza. Also recommend letting the pizza cool a bit before eating as the flavors really pop. This California girl is stilllearning about pizza. ???? Tavolo is a high end food establishment. They offer a wide variety of Italian food to choose from. We got a complementary basket of garlic bread at the table with some fresh tomato sauce on the side. I ordered the Bruschetta classica which was the highlightof my meal. Tasty tomatoes cheese and that special sauce they put on it. Would highly recommend it. Then I had the Pasta Pursesdish with a nice white cream sauce. The cheese was top tier though I would add a bit of pepper to my dish. My friends orderedlasagna and Tavolo salad. Salad was really good but lasagna was lacking flavor. The tomatoes made it ok. But it was nothing towrite home about. Overall, I would recommend you visit Tavolo and try it for yourself.

I visited Tavolo's for the first time and was impressed by the beautiful presentation of the food. The chicken was tender and moist, and our server Alexia provided excellent service. Thank you for a fantastic meal and overall experience.

What a great start! Our table was prepared and waiting for us, taking into account our special requests. Even though they were busy, several servers checked in on us regularly to ensure we were taken care of. The food was perfectly portioned, hot, and delicious. There was a mishap with one of the staff members dropping multiple dishes, but it was heartening to see the entire team, including the manager, quickly come together to clean up. We felt welcomed, had a great experience, and will definitely be back.
