Del's - Tucumcari

We first ate at Del's Restaurant in 2023. We were happy to eat there again on our annual trip to the Santa Fe Opera.

If you get Tucumcari, you get Mel's. If you don't you won't understand. But it's a great place to eat anyway.

The food was great, the wait staff was very attentive .

Stopped in to Del's for dinner tonight and what a wonderful experience!!!!! Amber, our server took great care of us without hovering but made sure we had all we needed. The food tasted amazing! We had a Mushroom Swiss Burger and a Green Chili Cheeseburger, what amazing flavors! They were cooked to perfection, just the way we ordered and the food was delivered very quickly. The sweet potato fries were wonderful as well! They were soft in the middle with a light crunch on the outside with GREAT taste. All our food was hot and fresh and just great! All the employees we had contact with were very friendly, welcoming and helpful during our visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone stop by Del's for a meal anytime you're in Tucumcari NM!

Flys were terrible. Brought chips and salsa after our main course was already served. Lettuce looked spoiled brown edges and only an apology.
