Blake's Lotaburger - Tucumcari

I don’t understand these reviews! Stopped in driving through to Texas from California and I just couldn’t believe how nasty! There were flies everywhere and the guy taking our order was trying to kill them as he took our order! He had no idea how the food was prepared (what came on what) and never cracked a smile once! Also, had to reorder my sons meal as the guy never rang it up. While waiting for our food, guy and girl came back from break or somewhere and the guy hollers at her “you didn’t wash your hands, go wash them”. Hubby ordered cheese on his burger, didn’t get it. The food was hot but the burger patties are so dry. Seasoned fries are okay, only thing that was eatable from our meal. We chose to eat in our vehicle because the restaurant is old and disgusting. No drive through. Just find a nicer Blake’s or go to McDonald’s….

Building is super old and in bad shape, burgers are 5 of 10, I ask for a shake and it was just milk with flavor, windows look dirty like they have a long time with out

The food was good. The ITSA burger had a nice kick to it with the added green chili. We also tried their shakes. The peach shake wasn't as good as the one from Chick-fil-a. I placed the order online. Service was just ok. We when arrived at the restaurant, the burger was already made and under the counter!?! We had to wait for others to place their order before our shakes could be made, thus the shakes were fresh, but the burger had cooled off significantly.

Food was pretty good but restaurant was not clean. I suggest you get your burger to go and enjoy. None of the tables had been cleaned, which can happen after a lunch rush. But the windowsills haven't been cleaned in a while, several dead flies (at least they were dead I suppose) dirt. The booths attach to the unclean windowsills. The ladies restroom door does not lock so take a bathroom buddy to watch the door. I will say the restroom was cleaner than the restaurant. Had we gotten our food to go we probably would have enjoyed it.

The best burger I’ve had in a very long time. I ate it after an hour it was cooked and it was still warm. That’s says it’s quality beef. The ingredients are amazing chili peppers ?️ was the New Mexico touch. The season fries are like no other. I’ve been a fan of whataburger but what a great burger this was. Holy smokes!! You gotta try it!!
