The Mill - Truckee

Super friendly place that was looked away in a commercial part of truckee. amazing choices for smoothies and juices and at least eight options for vegan eating including packings etc. also many gluten-free options. I have to stop when they drive to tahoe, where there are very few vegan offers at all.

I stopped by the mill to sip during a road trip and was happy to discover a charming little place. I didn't get any juice because, like most cold pressed juice compounds, the juices here are prefabricated and packed in plastic bottles, and I do my best to avoid more plastic waste. Luckily, their smoothes are ordered and served from plant strengths, which (if not ideal, how glass would be better) is not too bad as long as you actually go to the difficultities of composting or solving. service was very warm and pleasant and they were happy to veganize my smoothie by it without honey. the result was delicious and satisfying. enjoyed!

I visited the restaurant for lunch on Tuesday at 12:30. I was able to quickly order a delicious vegan breakfast wrap to go. The wrap was filled with fresh ingredients and I will definitely be returning in the future to try more items on the menu.

Thankfully, their smoothies are made to order and served in biodegradable cups, which is a better option than plastic as long as one disposes of them properly through composting or recycling. The service was friendly and welcoming, and they were happy to make my smoothie vegan by leaving out the honey. The end result was tasty and fulfilling. I highly recommend a visit!
