The Lodge Pub - Truckee

Wonderful dinner as sunset. We sat immediately and served the whole meal. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant to interact. He gave suggestions for cocktails and entrees, and neither disappointed. The salmon and pasta entrees were crumbling! It was a good way to end our day of fun in Truckee.

Fancy, but still casual. great views and a great menu. Lots of options and they have a kids menu. Tucked away from the main city center, it's a great place to have dinner.

We wanted to go for our food. The short rib was a fantastic one. I would have given five stars if it wasn't for the Caesar Salat to go pictured here. I think it was $14.

I love the food here absolutely and cannot recommend it enough. The lodge is the perfect name for this place, because the food is nothing but California comfort food. The reserve ribs were good, sea bass was excellent, and my daughter raves over her pasta. Totally recommend reservations well in advance although they have some walk-in capability in their pub (I think).

Good food drinks, very large portions. From the way, if you are not worth the ride in Tahoe Donner.
