Mehfil Indian Bistro - Truckee

This restaurant is extremely overpriced for the small portions of curry they serve. I discovered a hair in my rice dish. The decor is questionable, and the server was unresponsive and slow despite there being no other customers in the restaurant. Our water had particles floating in it, and the utensils, plates, and cups were all dirty. I do not recommend dining here. Additionally, the buffet was closed, which was disappointing.

Literally 90 minutes wait after ordering the food. 10-20 minutes before that just to that ale your order. Only 4 tables were busy out of 12-ish. They have zero clues on how to run a restaurant.

The restaurant has new ownership and the food has been consistently delicious. Everything I've tried here has been excellent.

Great food. They have parathas that you can ask for (not on the menu). Chai was good. Papdi chaat was also great. Food came pretty fast.

This restaurant is awful. We discovered hair in our naan breads. All of the curries tasted off and were only shades of orange and red. The server was rude, arrogant, and didn't care about our concerns. If you're looking for Indian food after a long day on the slopes, definitely avoid this place. We were very disappointed.
