Eastside Deli - Truckee

Never knew this place existed and just when you think you are driving into no where BAM, one of the best damn deli sandy I have ever had! So. Good.

Best sandwiches , Cheapest gasoline in town, Right off the freeway Easy access, raft rentals, propane, firewood for campers, Best brownies and cookies homemade ,

Stopped here on the way back from a furry convention. Incredible sandwiches, friendly staff, speedy service. Got the Angler and a hot dog. Will definitely eat here again!

We stopped by here for sandwiches. The bread was very good, as were the fillings. One thing to note is that our sandwiches were very wet; I believe it was an oil dressing. If you're eating at the picnic tables outside that's no problem, but if you'retaking out or eating in the car it's pretty messy. Very good tasting sandos though. Next time I come back I'll ask them to holdthe dressing.

I came in at 4:59 and they told me they closed at 5:00 so no sandwiches or food was available. Everything was already cleared and put away. I understand not wanting to stay open for an hour after closing but if someone comes in before closing theyshould be able to still get a sandwich made.
