Tri-tip was amazing and the volunteers that run this every Saturday.

We went to the Saturday afternoon barbecue and the Tri tip sandwich was excellent

Oh My Gawd Have you heard of Love at first bite???? Well, let me share my little love affair with the Elk 's Lodge in Thousand Oaks. But first, Did you know??? -There are 26 letters in the Alphabet... -There are 8 different ways to spell BBQ: Barbeque, Barbicue, Barbique, Bar-B-Cue, Bar-B-Que, Bar-B-Q, BBQ, and Barbecue. -There are 6 doneness levels of red meat (steak including Blue which is a step down before rare. (Side note, if you order Well Done, Shame on You!!! -There are 4 prominent known regions of bbq which include Carolina, Kansas City, Memphis Texas. But, -There is ONLY 1 ELK 's Lodge in Thousand Oaks that serves up arguably the best (pick your spelling above BBQ in Thousand Oaks, let alone Ventura County. That 's right people, the Elk 's Lodge has decades of experience BBQ 'ing up some of the best Tri-Tip this side and the other side for that matter of the Mississippi. I 've been enjoying this American Delicacy in Thousand Oaks for years now and every time I have it, it 's like my first time and I just just can 't get enough of it. The toasted bread alone will make you cry tears of joy. The meat, Oh The Meat!!! They definitely don 't skimp on giving you a generous portion of beautifully cooked tri-tip. The Barbecue Sauce!!!! Its. Life. Changing. My only advice, Get LOTS of napkins and get ready to do the happy dance. Not into Tri-Tip? That 's ok!! They also serve up Baby Back Ribs, Beef Ribs and Chicken. Is Meat just not your thing?? No worries, Here ya go... Type 3825 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd into your GPS... You 're welcome! Or maybe it 's a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or even worse it 's Sunday?? And this next one really bites... It 's a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and you realize all the delicious BBQ you 've been craving during the week at The Elk 's Lodge is all gone and you will now have to wait a whole week and just to satisfy that BBQ craving. Trust me, I 've been there. Yes, as you 've probably guessed, The Elk 's Lodge Bbq is only open on Saturdays and only until it 's all gone. (Approximately noonish-1ish?? . And if you 're a local, don 't forget you can also find these guys offsite during various local events (Chili Cook Off, street fair on Moorpark Rd., etc . And believe me, when I go to these events, they are absolutely my first stop!! Of course, the Elks Lodge is more than just their delicious Saturday BBQ 's. Members volunteer their time and do great things for our local community including charity and working with the local youth. So the next time Barbecue is on the mind and it 's Saturday late morning to early afternoon, drop what you are doing and come support this amazing organization that will affirm that this BBQ spot will be your new go-to going forward.

Great Food, I found this place a few years ago and never wrote a review. Only because I wanted to keep it for myself friends. If your craving BBQ this is the place in Thousand Oaks area. Good prices for what you get. professionally crafted BBQ at its best. I recommend you give this open pit BBQ a try.

Went to listen to friends sing in a band . Drinks were good. People were nice . Bathrooms are clean. The Lodge fun place to go with friends
