The Baron's Manor - Surrey

I went to this restaurant last week for lunch with my friend. The fries were really good and my Cheesesteak was delicious. The servers were friendly and attentive.

This restaurant is fantastic! The staff is amazing and the food is delicious. You have to try the mexi-wrap - it's like a secret burrito in disguise.

This pub has a nice appearance, but there must have been some issue because there were no patrons when we visited.

I ordered a penne in a creamy basil or something sauce with tiger prawns.You know those-precooked orange prawns with tail on a black plastic tray that are waiting for days for a fool to buy them at your local supermarket?Well, those were in my penne, only God knows how long they have been sitting in the pub;'s kitchen after they were bought. DRY. NO TASTE. Cardboard probably tastes better.How difficult can it be to keep FRESH FROZEN prawns in the freezer and to just throw them into boiling water when they are ordered. Your customers will love you for it ! No enough, the penne was drowning in a white creamy (or floury?) slosh that was devoid of any taste. Don't have any fresh Thyme growing on your window sill?The waiting staff is gorgeous, friendly, and super-efficient. The chef is probably innocent, but who-ever buys the food ingredients should be ashamed of themselves !

I have been to this pub a few times now, and am appalled at the attitude of the waitresses, particularly two of them who work there often, with long, straight dark hair. They seem completely uninterested in customer service and never crack a smile. There is definitely an obvious sense of annoyance from them, they forget to bring cream and sugar for the coffee, don't offer refills and rarely come around. I actually got a dirty look when I asked for a spoon to stir my coffee. I have seen them sit at a table together and talk while customers are waiting for service. Although the food is good, I will never return to this pub until the staff is changed.
