Food was generally good. Some menu items were fantastic but zome others kind of average quality at best. Service was kind of slow. From the menu items we tried:Halim Bademjan was fantastic: 5/5Barg kabob was one of the best I've ever had: 5/5Chicken kabob wasn't the best. It was a bit bland and dry. 3/5Lamb shoulder: amazing 5/5Shishlik: kind of mediocre at best, very dry and bland: 2/5They provide freshly brewed tea which is nice.Music was too loud and the selection consisted of mostly sad songs.Service was slow and some items were not available. We had reservation at 1pm and even though they open at 12, they said Lamb neck and Zeitoon parvardeh are not ready yet.Overall, some food items are fantastic, like best I've tried and those make it worth coming back to.
Parking may be hard since it’s only street parking. Come a little early for parking. Otherwise, I didn’t need reservations. It’s really good Persian food. They have good portions, and it is shareable depending on how hungry you are. You are given tea when you come in.However, the service I had was awful. The server didn’t check on us once, but checked on the other tables often. The service was inconsistent. I didn’t feel welcomed. If you want flavourful kabob and don’t care too much about service then it’s the place to visit.
Small and cosy Persian restaurant on your route to east (esp., Vancouver greater zoo). The food is great. I specially recommend the Chicken kebab.Oh, and when you first sit down, they're gonna offer you tea. Take it! It's so good!
This cozy and welcoming restaurant greeted us with tea and served us delicious Vaziri and Soltani kabob plates. The portions were sufficient and everything was modestly seasoned, making for a full-blown flavor explosion. The garnished rice with butter and sumac perfectly complemented the kabobs. If you're looking for fantastic Iranian food, this is a must-visit spot if you like kababs. Highly recommended!
