Salty's Fish and Chips - Surrey

We celebrated Mother's Day by ordering from Salty's in Fleetwood since it was getting late and most other restaurants had closed for the night. The halibut and chips we ordered were still hot since the restaurant is just minutes away from home. The meal was delicious! The batter on the fish was light and crispy, not greasy at all, and the fish itself was moist and cooked perfectly. The French fries were also delicious. We also enjoyed the fresh coleslaw and tartar sauce. I was able to eat two pieces of fish, which is a record for me!

The food was freshly cooked the batter was delicious. The chips are nearly like home, they were not crispy today. You could have a chip butty though! The place was clean but there are no disabled facilities or baby changing facilities here yet though.

My food was ready when I went for a pickup of Halibut and Chips. The chips were ok but the more expensive halibut was overcooked and very crispy on the outside and dry on the inside. Perhaps they have a new cook.

Went here for lunch yesterday with my daughter. Haddock and Cod with chips. Both cooked properly, not under or over cooked as I seem to find lately at other restaurants. Service was good, again only appeared like waitress/cook was on, but it works.

Had lunch here today with my daughter, she had the Halibut and I had Haddock. Both cooked to perfection, lots of fries and very tasty coleslaw. Service was great, waitress on but very attentive.
