Dairy Queen - Surrey

Visited here for Miracle Treat day. The location is easily accessible off Scott Road and has plenty of parking. Their food and ice cream are standard DQ fare prepared the same as any other location.The restaurant itself is quite large and good for sports teams to visit but is in dire need of an upgrade. On busy days the queue is complete chaos, booths are uncomfortable and the overall look and feel is dreary.

This place has been going down hill for years. The decor is very old and dated, never updated in at least 20 plus years. This place is dirty and the staff are slow and do not care, so what else are they not cleaning.

We go for ice cream sundaes or blizzards once or twice a month. Scott rd DQ has been our go to place for 20 years. Over the past year, this place has gone way downhill. Staff turnover is incredible after being stable for a long time. Constantly training new staff. Orders consistently wrong; nuts are really rancid despite numerous complaints in person and online; running out of multiple items on a Friday night (who does your ordering? ??). Franchise operator is running this place into the ground. This place has the original late 70's decor and we've always joked and overlooked the tacky interior because of really good service and decent product. I do not recommend this DQ. Avoid, avoid, avoid until this place shapes up again.

We have gone to this Dairy Queen for years when we wanted to get Ice Cream treats. The quality of what we receive is as expected, but this location of Dairy Queen is in desperate need of a major renovation. Sad to say this place has known better days -it is a dump!

Have visited this restaurant a number of times in the evening for ice cream and/or dinner. Every time I visit, the girls behind the counter seem to be more concerned with chatting about their weekend plans rather than taking care of the customers and pending orders. Ice cream is always either half-mixed, or not made right, and the wait for orders is up to 15-20 mins sometimes. Staff seems hungover, extremely tired, or just plain stupid.. They clearly have no interest in working here..
