Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe found Jack's last week and enjoyed a casual brunch on our way through to the coast. It was a great spot right in High Street and very surprising as to the set up including the large café area. The food was served very quickly and the coffee was really welcome on a cold day outside. We enjoyed the ambience of the place including the enclosed almost atrium area. Helen and Perry both attended our table and were most courteous and obliging.
Was this establishment really great? No it wasn't.But, the owners seem very sincere and welcoming, and the establishment looks like it needs a little TLC. My understanding is that the current owners are relatively new operators, and it looks like they are trying hard to get the business back on its feet.Go in and have a nice RIo coffee, and support a local business employing local young folk!Hopefully, they will be able to continue to improve.
Average coffee shop, though nice interior and friendly staff. Food selection seemed a little limited on the day we were there.
A very enjoyable meal. The surroundings are comfortable although some more imagination would make a lot of difference. The best thing is, the background music is just that; very much in the background, where it should be.The menu is interesting and has good choice, well prepared, reasonably portioned and appropriately priced meals. Was great to spend lunch with a friend and while away an hour paging through a magazine together.
Had breakfast here twice in the last week and will be going again. Good value for money, order the big breakfast with the lot. Also purchased scones to take home, as couldn't be bothered to make myself and will probably not bother to make again as these were superb.
