Victoria Hotel Bistro - STRATHALBYN

One of the better pho place in town, just a short walk away from Chinatown Parking could be an issue but hey, it is in the city.

Haven't tried the pho here, because I get caught up every time at the "wrap your own" page.

As a Melburnian, it's a compliment to say that this place would slot in perfectly to the Victoria Rd Richmond string of Vietnamese chneap'n'cheerful places.

Food was very good and plentiful & salad bar was well stocked, excellent chefs thanks, very pleasant bistro area

Dropped in for lunch. Menu had a good variety and was reasonably priced. Yum is all I can say. I had the Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers for entree. They were crunchy and fresh with the Chipotle dipping sauce that I've had in a long time. I then had a classic, Bangers and Mash. The snags were real beef and not a commercial type that are full of fillers. The butter fish was succulent and fresh with crispy crunchy chips. Service was attentive and quick. Along with a cold Coopers, was a very enjoyable lunch.
