Mawson House Café - MEADOWS

I had brunch here on a Sunday morning and it did not disappoint. My wife called ahead to make a reservation, and the lady on the phone was very pleasant—though it may seem like a small detail, it makes a big difference. When we arrived, we were promptly seated at our table and placed our orders. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I enjoyed the classic bacon and eggs on sourdough, while the waffles with apple crumble were perfect for those with a sweet tooth. Overall, we had great food and exceptional service!

This spot is fantastic as a patisserie. The service is friendly and attentive, and the cakes are packed with flavor and beautifully presented. I tried the orange and poppy seed cake, shared a raspberry and rosewater cake, and we took home some cheese and chive dampers — I can recommend all of them! We definitely need to come back; I have to try the brownie. Treat yourself and visit Mawson House Café!

I visited a lovely café on Main Street in Meadows to enjoy some coffee and scones. They’re open until 4 PM on Sundays, which is a plus! The staff was very friendly, and the place was immaculate, both inside and outside. There was plenty of seating available, both indoors and in a cozy outdoor area away from the road. The fruit scones were absolutely delightful, served with generous portions of sweet jam and fresh cream. The coffee was also quite good. I will definitely be back!

Gorgeous cafe at Meadows. Delicious fruit scone with jam and fresh cream. Nice hot coffee with a fruity undertone that went well with the fruit scone. Really friendly happy staff, great customer service. Cool retro music playing! Nice outdoor seating area and lovely relaxed indoor area with local art for sale on the walls. Will pop in again next time we're passing through
