Twisters Ice Cream - Stonington

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to indulge in some delicious ice cream while taking in the scenic views of the river. We frequent this establishment whenever we are in the area.

Last week, we brought our dog (who is in training) to this restaurant on a hot day. My husband and I enjoyed some ice cream while our dog, Drax, got a side of whipped cream. The teenager working had a fake-friendly voice towards all the customers, but she wasn't overly friendly. It was strange that they didn't have chocolate or vanilla ice cream, but the items we did end up ordering were fantastic. I had some sort of brownie blast dessert, and my husband also got something tasty. We appreciated that there were plenty of tables and their own parking lot.

I really enjoy this cozy ice cream shop located by the water in Mystic, CT. After grabbing dinner and watching a movie just a short distance away, I love to come here to catch the sunset while enjoying a delicious banana split.

What's not to like? It's an ice cream shack, with hard and soft ice cream. Soft serve: vanilla, choc, and twist. Hard ice cream had about 10 flavors. Enough to find something for everyone. It's right on the Mystic River, so, great views. Get someclam strips next door, then walk over for an ice cream and stare out at the water while contemplating your fast-approachingdeath.

We stopped by this place for fast service, ice cream, and milkshakes. We loved the friendly staff and the amazing view.
