Ihop - St. Joseph

My partner wanted to go here for breakfast on Christmas tomorrow. He never received a refill on his drink, but I did. It was so busy that the server might have been a bit overwhelmed. The food was amazing though! Overall, I’d rate it 4 out of 5.

I visited the restaurant at 2 PM on a Wednesday and noticed that there were only four other people present. I believe that the staff could have taken advantage of the quiet time to do some cleaning. This restaurant really needs a thorough deep cleaning, or at the very least, the management and staff should use their downtime more effectively for cleaning tasks. On the bright side, the food was fresh and the server was very friendly. However, I had to use three of my hand towels just to clean the seat and the surrounding area.

The parking lot and entry way was very dirty. The whole place could use a good deep cleaning. And the water stains on the ceiling should be repaired. We almost left after seeing the dirty conditions. The waitess was very nice. The food wasn't bad/Not the best. I thought the prices were pretty high. There weren't very many people there for 6pm on a Tuesday night. That should have been our first sign not to go there.. I don't think we will return unless the make some major changes.

We had stopped going here because of poor service in the past and decided to give it another chance. Took 30 minutes to get our food, when they only 3 tables occupied. Then the bill was a mess. they so called fixed it but actually made it $5 higher. Then it was going to take 10 minutes to re fix it, so I just paid it and left little tip.

Visited IHOP for a sit down breakfast after church. Staff upon entry were not smiley or very pleasant but our waitress was really nice and accommodating. Their bathrooms need some work. The food was decent and filling. We've had better but it was fair.Food: 3/5
