Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - St. Joseph

My experience at Cheddar's has been with 2 visits so far. Since we come to St. Joseph about once every 6 weeks, I don't come often. However. Both of my visits have been during the lunchtime hours and during the week. In both cases, we were seated immediately and attended to as quickly. Food was excellent, our waitstaff were right on the ball with refills and our requests. Will return there again.

Always heard Cheddar's had good food. I kept it simple with a pregame chicken strip n fries. Slaw. The chicken was off the hook and the fries were nicely seasoned n fresh. Im like my slaw more on the creamy side so i give it a 7. The long island drinks were just right too.

Great service and food. We went before 4 p.m. to beat a rush and only had a 15 minute wait due to COVID regulations. We ordered the cheese curds for the appetizer. The bredding was awesome and ranch was Dinomite! You get complementary honey butter crescents but if you want more. It's only 1.75 for 2. We ordered the steak n' ribs combo. Steak was cooked perfect and ribs fell off the bone! Loaded Baked Potatoe and Green beans with that dish was good as well. We also ordered Chicken tenders and coconut shrimp combo with broccoli cheese cassarole and french fries. The chicken tenders were breaded good and juicy, the coconut shrimp was the bomb! It had a spicy sweet sauced served with it as well. Very yummy! The broccoli cheese rice Cassarole tasted just like my Grandma's recipe. Amazing!! The fries could have been better. They were not pipping hot and it was the end of the bag leftover small bits. Lol. Which just happens sometime but wished they were all big and crispy. The only other thing that could have been better was the mug that my man's beer came in... Was not frozen and not fresh. The head (suds) on the beer was gone already as it came to the table and the beer tasted flat... Every beer should always have a frozen mug Also. The bus boy had to re-wipe our seat due to food on the booth. He didn't seem to fond of doing it again but he did it anyway. Our server was very nice, kept our table clear of plates and made sure we got what we needed. Please tip more than normal if a job well done. Which we did. We will be back !

Stopped in for a drink and appetizer while shopping on a Sunday afternoon. The drinks were amazing! Cheddars Painkiller and Maui Margarita. Service was quick, food and drinks were timely. Wait staff was friendly. High Five!

The food is great! It's actually pretty affordable, considering. We love everything there. Definitely worth trying the Monte Crisco sandwich!
