Salt Water Grille - South Portland

I tried to get a reservation at saltwater grille for a long time and was never in the position! I had heard of this place in our online nextdoor.

We took a few friends from west to this doth portland restaurant as they were eager to be at the sea and the restaurant has designated parking place.

Went for the price fixing thanksgiving dinner and had the worst meal of my life. a frozen dinner would have been better. the turkey was scanned and dry.

The Saltwater Grille is a great little tucked away spot in South Portland! It doesn’t seem too touristy. There is a huge menu with a seafood focus, but the menu offers a little of everything— so something for everyone! Definitely ask to sit on the deck, you won’t regret it! Their wine list is extensive. We loved the dry rose (pictures) it was delicious! Call ahead for a reservation, plenty of parking, friendly staff! Be sure to go for sunset!

We were very happy with our food, the service, and the atmosphere! I had the fried seafood platter. Everything was exceptional, except the coleslaw, which was average. The platter was big enough for 2 average eaters to share. The price of the food is high, but to be expected, with the quality, the atmosphere, and the region. Since it was December, we were seated at 6pm with no wait, I would highly recommend reservations during the peak season.
