Service and food were excellent! This is one of the best meals I have ever had

This place is fine but overrated. There are so many other more inventive places in Portland

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The service, not just from our server but from the entirety of the staff was wonderfully comprehensive. We shared dishes: the mussels, a tile fish special, the peach salad and the whole bass. Everything was something to write home about. Never disappoints

If I could say one word for Fore Street it’s consistent. It never fails to give us the best food and service that we could ask for when we visit. We were sat down at a booth and immediately felt the ventilation was blowing cold air on us. We mentioned to our server Sarah, that it was very cold and could we have another table. Sarah immediately told Matt and he kindly sat us at another booth. We appreciated the prompt action. Our party of four enjoyed the mussels an outstanding pork belly. Our entrees of skirt steak, diver scallops, halibut, and the porchetta were all excellent. This dinner was a celebration of our wedding anniversary. Our server Sarah made our night so enjoyable. We loved her sense of humor. I mistakenly said it was our anniversary and my husband and friends laughed. I said oops So when our desserts came see picture) we roared. Written on the plate was HAPPY x-ed out, Anniversary. It’s special touches like this that make for a memorable night. Thank you Matt, Sarah and Fore Street for making our evening extra special.
