Q Street Diner - South Portland

Excellent service and wonderful staff! Our waitress, Sandy, was amazing—extremely friendly and hilarious. She truly made our dining experience special. The food was delicious, and the cozy hometown vibe in such a bustling city felt fantastic. We had Reuben sandwiches, and they were delightful!

The service was top-notch; our server was very attentive and kept our coffee cups full, never letting them get close to empty. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because they don’t accept credit cards. This essentially shifts the transaction fees onto the customer since they have an ATM on-site that charges a fee. Or you could go find an ATM elsewhere and incur a fee there. I really don’t appreciate that, as I believe credit card processing should be just part of doing business these days. That said, I will definitely be returning because I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the friendly service, and the overall vibe of the restaurant.

This diner is an excellent and affordable spot for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is available until closing time, and they only accept cash. You'll need to enter from the side parking lot behind the sign. We look forward to visiting again many times!

We went to Q Street diner for the first time this Saturday and we will definitely be going back! Our waitress was wonderful, getting our food to us quickly and giving us plenty of coffee refills. All the staff were extremely welcoming. And the food was so good! All of my family had a great time!

Delicious food... Great service... Awesome atmosphere.. they do not take plastic tho, so bring cash, or you can use there ATM behind the counter.. make sure you get crispy bacon, it's the best...
