Big Fin Poke - South Portland

Our new favorite poke spot in the area is the original located in Westbrook. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, the flavors are fantastic, and there's just the right amount of creativity without being over-the-top or forced. The variety on the menu is impressive, too. Plus, the service is quick and efficient.

One of my favorite features of this restaurant is the option to combine half rice and half salad as the base. I often struggle to choose between the two, so being able to enjoy both is a fantastic benefit for me. Every time we order takeout, the food is always fresh and ready quickly. There's also ample parking available, which makes picking up our orders really convenient. The only drawback is that they charge an additional $1.25 for avocado, which I find somewhat frustrating!

The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are fantastic. I believe that quality always influences the cost.

The food is delicious, the interior is spotless, and the staff are friendly. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the dishes makes it worth it. The miso soup was slightly bland, but a pinch of salt and a little MSG really improved the flavor. If you're sensitive to strong fish tastes, I suggest asking for no crab salad, as it was a bit too overpowering for my liking.
