Big Fin Poke - South Portland

I had never experienced poké before until recently and now I can't get enough of Big Fin Poke's food. Put simply, it is a sushi bowl. They do have gyudon beef, cooked shrimp and fried chicken bowls for those who are iffy on sushi. It's all delicious though and I always get a teriyaki musubi for my dessert. It is a little pricey, which is understandable. Two bowls, two musubis and a small tip bring the total just under 50$. I think it is actually a little cheaper to get one of their named bowls instead of making your own and adding the same ingredients? Either way, it is worth the price. Give them a shot, you won't regret it.

Spicy tuna is great every single time. Have never had a bad experience here. Pretty standard situation inside since COVID, but the food and service is always great

Food is delicious, interior is very clean, staff are pleasant. Prices are a little high but you can tell that goes into the quality of the food. The miso soup is a bit bland. A tiny pinch of salt and some msg helped wake it up. If you're sensitive to fishy stuff, ask for no crab salad. It was way too strong for me.

Nice and clean, large sitting area.. I got the wasabi salmon since I'm a salmon fan... however it is overwhelmingly wasabi. Also so annoying when they charge you for a side sauce.
