Steak 'n Shake - Snellville

We had an outstanding server. The food was excellent and served promptly. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming.

This restaurant has a nostalgic diner vibe and offers fantastic burgers with generous portions. Their old-fashioned milkshakes are enormous, topped with rich whipped cream and a cherry. As someone who works nearby, this has become my favorite spot. The self-service kiosks make ordering quick and easy, guiding you through the menu effortlessly. The staff behind the counter is hardworking, fast, and friendly. The restaurant is very clean, with plenty of booths and tables. While there is a drive-thru, I prefer dining inside, as the wait for cars is often long, with vehicles wrapping around the building. The kiosks are more efficient, and I've rarely experienced mistakes—only when I make one! I've noticed that many customers, especially those like me, tend to be older than the usual fast-food crowd. The decor exudes a cozy 1950s and 60s charm, creating a welcoming atmosphere without any gimmicks. It's simply a fantastic spot for lunch. I highly recommend stopping by to give it a try! While this place primarily serves burgers, they also offer grilled cheese sandwiches—no chicken or fish, just delicious burgers, fries, and onion rings.

The food was excellent, but we experienced an extremely long wait for our meals. When I asked the manager how much longer it would take, I noticed that families of five or more who arrived after us were finishing their meals while we were still waiting. There were only two of us, which made it even more frustrating. The manager responded in a dismissive manner, saying the numbers had to roll back to 100 when we were at 101, even though we had heard the numbers called out twice. When I mentioned this to her, she simply shrugged it off and said she didn't know what to tell me, just to wait until our food was ready. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

We ate inside and found out they'd get rid of the waiters. Now you have a kiosk from which you order. Once you enter your order and place yourself. Then call your number when your order is ready. It took about 15min-20min to get the food, but I think the process is new and will accelerate it over time.
