Seoul Pub Crawl

I have been here for a while (I live and work here in Seoul) and tend to go to the pub crawls quite often. Great way to meet some new folks (both foreign and native) from all over the world. Always entertaining and fun. There’s two areas that rotate each week (Hongdae and Itaewon). If one week had Hongdae on Friday and Itaewon on Saturday, next week would be flipped (so if you always work on Firday nights, you can always have a chance at attending both Hongdae and Itaewon). Both areas are great, with good bars and clubs. If you happen to miss the last train/bus and live further away, you will either have to take a taxi (which usually is cheap, but can be difficult if you don’t speak Korean, it thankfully if you can find a captain, they can help you). You can also do what I do and just stay out all night until the train/bus starts again (around 5 AM). Just hang out with your next found friends. The “captains” are there to help you interact with other folks, if you go solo (so no need to be worried to go alone). There’s usually two captains each night (Friday and Saturday) who are there to help you, if needed. Having been here and gone to quite a few of these, each captain has their own uniqueness and style, but are all wonderful people (shout out to Meghan, Phillip, Deb/Debbie, Soya, Melodie, and Anthony who unfortunately left recently) Ruso is also a wonderful photographer who helps out and captures incredible photos (so you can enjoy the night). The price is quite reasonable for what you get (3 bars and 1 club). Clubs alone are usually the price of the pub crawl, which makes it a no-brained. You owe yourself a favor to go, whether you are on vacation or live here (and haven’t gone).

I experienced a night in Itaewon. We were a huge group, with a lot of different nationalities mixed (including Korean folks). It was extremely fun, everyone was getting along and Captain Kim always made sure everybody felt good and safe throughout the night. Definitely something to try if you have the chance, it’s a perfect way of getting to know not only locals, but other people too! Also, good to remind you that Captain Kim is the best

Great crew, great vibes. You will get your money safe. Nice to meet some people from all over the world. I love the drinks and the games. If you are ever in Seoul, you should really consider joining.

Awesome Pub Crawl in Seoul! Had the best night out. We met Iteawon on Friday and Hongdae on Saturday both nights were super fun with a fantastic group of people. Very recommended if you want to experience what Seoul Nightlife has to offer
