Even the area around this resto is so picture worthy especially during fall when trees lining up the road turned yellow and red. So, we arrived right at 12.15 noon and were quickly greeted by the owner. It is cozy but pretty small as to all eateries in Seoul. There are only 2 main dishes to choose from; beef bulgogi stew and ginseng chicken samgytang. The owner took time to explain what ingredients they used and served us the chicken. Because the ingredients used were fresh the meal was delicious and refreshing. I love their side dishes too. Overall it was a lovely experience. We arrived in ample of time to enjoy the meal without feeling guilty taking too long before groups of people coming in. So just come before lunch time. I think the place cant be reserved.
Good food. Great host. Mr. Hassan is polite and polite and in English explains the food she serves. Recommended for Halal travelers. It can be quite difficult to get there. It's a slope. Take the Green Shuttle bus from Seoul Station 11 to there.
After visiting the Gyeongbokgung Palace we went there for lunch. The place is easy to find (via GPS). The owner (Br Hassan) was very friendly and spoke to all guests. There is a wudu prayer area, as well as relaxation room. The menu had only 2 items and we ordered the Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot. It was amazing!!! The food was delicious and it is a reasonable price and servings. We would definitely recommend this place.
Delicious food and the owner is friendly. Nice place! You should eat here when you go with the group. It is affordable and the food was delicious
If you travel to Gyeongbukgung and Bukcheon hanok village and suddenly see Halal Korean food, you can go to the “Halalal Kitchen Halal Korean Food” to try out their Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) and Bulgogi (korean grilled beef). The place is so beautiful as the restaurant is built in a Hanok that is traditional Korean house. Btw is not so far from Gyeongbukgung and it is located in the bukcheon hanok village, which is just a few minutes walk from this tourist attraction P/s: The owner was super nice and he will explain to you about the dishes!
