Adega Do Compadre - Santana

Got limpets, tuna and beef. Tested these type of food on at least 7 more restaurants in Madeira, and this is on the bottom of the list, not even close to some of the top ones. I stopped here because i was on a day trip, not by choice.

We were on a full day tour of the eastern part of the island and we were recommended here by our driver Diogo. It was busy, but the service and the food was very good. Prices very good. Did not have any cake as the main courses very generous , but looked inviting. You do have to walk down the hill slightly from Old Thatched Madeiran houses. Would come here again

Found this restaurant by accident while in Santana. Excellent food, great service and out of this world homemade cakes. Hands down one of the best cakes I ever had and I am very particular when it comes to cakes and pastry. The owner mom bakes them using her own recipes. Bravissimo!!!

O prato do dia de hoje foi dourada no forno e cabrito no forno. Ambos altamente recomendados. Então eu não entendi a palavra cabra no começo, então o chefe imitou a cabra para mim.

Já comemos aqui duas vezes e nas duas vezes a comida estava ótima. Pedimos aqui Lapas e apaixonámo-nos por este prato
