Mission Lounge - Santa Nella

From the moment you step into the Courtyard, your stress level reduces by 80%. The gardens are magnificent- well tended, variety, fountains, koi pond, walking paths....all to be enjoyed morning, noon and night. Food is as easy as a stroll across the garden, with delicious meals serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We celebrated our 13 year old granddaughter's birthday in the Chef's Room at the kitchen. A glance around the rooms, gardens, pool, fitness gym...and you see life time memories being formed. This is our second visit and we have planned a family reunion in May here. Convenient, right off Highway 5, moderately priced and lovely.

We were traveling to San Diego and needed to stay over. We found this beautiful resort style hotel right off of I-5. Clean, comfortable, restaurant on site. Palm trees and fountains. It was relaxing and just what we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Mission de Oro! We require very specific things, such as grab bars on the left side and a curb-less roll in shower, in a hotel room as my husband is a Disabled Veteran in a big power wheelchair. When making the reservation, the staff wasn’t sure if they had a room that would work, so they asked if they could check and call me back. I’ve had other hotels say/ask the same thing, and on several occasions I’ve never heard back. The staff here called back within 15 minutes, told us which room would work for us and guaranteed we’d get that room! At most hotels they won’t reserve a specific room, which is a huge problem if they only have one that fits our needs. When we arrived, the Front Desk people were friendly and helpful! When we got to our room, it couldn’t have been better for us. The Kitchen Restaurant had great food, including a vegan cheese option for our pizza! I’d forgotten to pack toothpaste and their little on-site market is open 24 hours and had exactly what we needed! The price for the room was great, too! We’ll be going back! (Side note: The bed was on a solid pedestal, so if someone needed to use a Hoyer lift to transfer from a wheelchair to the bed, that wouldn’t be possible, and the door was heavy and challenging to open if you have issues with your grip or hand strength). With that said, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel and its yummy restaurant!

The Hotel , is lovely and well maintained.Its attributes include comfortable accomodations, swimming pool , tennis Courts , laundry room , Excellent Resteraunt and a Wine museum... Although easy access to Highway , you feel like your miles away from the hustle and bustle of every day life...

Best place along that endless road from socal to norcal wonderful staff clean organized rooms great hot tub next time the 24 hour sauna great food and bar secure parking could have better tv service lots of hot water with good pressure
